DashForge

Terms of sale and use

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms cover buying DashForge Plus, DashForge Pro and DashForge Track, upgrading from Plus to Pro, and using the DashForge app. Please read them before you buy. Nothing in them takes away your rights under consumer law.

1. Who we are

DashForge is made by AppForged LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in Scotland, company number SC885016. Our registered office is 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4AN. You can reach us at support@appforged.cc.

Payments are handled by Stripe, which sells DashForge Plus, DashForge Pro, the upgrade from Plus to Pro, and DashForge Track for us as the merchant of record. Stripe takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt; Stripe's own terms cover the payment. We provide DashForge, your keys and codes and DashForge Track, and these terms cover those.

2. What you can buy

DashForge needs an Android 6.0 or newer device and a supported engine computer (ECU), connected by USB or Bluetooth. Some features also need GPS, an internet connection or Wi-Fi. Please try the free app with your device and ECU before you buy.

You need to be 18 or over to buy.

5. Renewing and cancelling DashForge Track

6. Refunds and your right to cancel

7. If something goes wrong

If you're a consumer, the law says digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and a service such as DashForge Track must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If DashForge isn't, tell us and we'll try to put it right. Depending on the problem, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. If faulty digital content from us damages your device or other content, and that's because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair the damage or compensate you. For advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

8. Using DashForge safely

9. Tuning is at your own risk

Changing your engine computer's settings can damage your engine, make your vehicle unsafe, affect its emissions and road legality, and affect your warranty and insurance. DashForge checks that an ECU is verified before it writes to it, but it can't tell whether your settings are right for your engine. You're responsible for the changes you make and what they do.
